Development of the GALAXY 2000 family of cards, designed for the conversion of synthetic fibres by the semi-worsted process, has been one of technical evolution.

These cards meet the main requirements of the semi-worsted process i.e. :

• High production level;
• Maximum carding efficiency;
• Avoiding fibre shortening;
• Adapted to a particularly short process.

Nothing has been overlooked in our efforts to provide a progressive, gentle yet efficient carding.

Five feeding rollers, an important number of carding points placed on two swifts, and one single doffer, allow the production of a high quality web, where fibres are perfectly individualized.

A very efficient roller drafting unit, together with a high speed can coiler, allows high production coupled with high quality sliver for easier downstream processing.

CVT volumetric feeder with its different feeding possibilities, the SERVOLAP ® card feed regulator and the optional MECATRONIC ® drive make of the GALAXY 2000 from HDB SA the reference for carding of synthetic fibres for the semi-worsted process.
