HOUGET
DUESBERG BOSSON
is the result of the association, back in 1962, of two very
old Companies devoted to the construction of textile machinery
: the Ateliers HOUGET, established in 1823, and DUESBERG BOSSON
who started their activities a few years later.
Situated on the banks of the river Vesdre, in Verviers,
a town which was in the past very famous for its wool industry,
HDB SA is located at the cross road of Europe, right in
the middle of an important network of motorways. (road

Exclusively devoted to the manufacturing of machinery for the Textile
Industry, namely the wool and wool-like spinning, Houget Duesberg
Bosson, better known under their initials HDB, makes the reference
in the matters of the preparation to the carding, the carding and
the spinning operations, most particularly for the production of
carpet yarns both by the woollen and the semi-worsted processes.
From November 1st, 2005, the HDB 1823 Company has been overtaken by Frank Reisky to form a new entity under the name of Houget Duesberg Bosson (HDB) S.A. The manufacturing program has been maintained, including the production units dry-laid nonwoven webs. All the traditional services are available.
World - wide presence of HDB S.A. is ensured by their
network of local Agents who take care of the promotion of their
machinery and the back up Service for the Customers
As a member of Symatex,
Association of the Belgian Textile Machinery Makers,
HDB S.A. also takes advantage of their canvassing for foreign
Customers, and of the support of the Walloon Region Agency for Export
(DARE-
AWEX).
